Hello you guys,
So many things, so little time. Nevertheless we are back with Day 2 in Melbourne – figuring things out. Oh Yeaahhhh. We were totally jet lagged and still figuring what to do next.
Woke up at Fajar Time, said my prayer and then off to the mini kitchen we had in our apartment. Made tea and sat down with hubby and bub to indulge in the view. Morning breeze with birds chirping around helped us smile and helped us fight through the jet lag :P.
By the way if you are big fan of scenic views from up in the skies, you have an option of Hot Air Balloon to watch Melbourne waking up from the tranquil skies above. Float over the city to see the sun rise and breathe in the beauty to refresh your soul.
Time for breaky! Yayy, food makes us happy. As I mentioned in my previous post about our stroll to #Coles, now was our time to feel home away from home. Don’t know why but I had this craving to eat scrambled eggs while Sirus I knew would stick to his standard morning breakfast i.e. sun side up and butter toasted bread. It was a bit challenging for me as I am not familiar with electric stoves but darling I am an intelligent woman, I figure things out. 😛
Out and About 😀 ,time to explore more ! So we got ready and took off to check out the Chinese Festival held on the other bank of Yarra river. Lots of reds, dragons and Chinese inspired “everything” was much captivating but boy did we miss Dragon Mart 😉 .
Did you know, Melbourne had been a source of inspiration for musicians, writers and creative beings? Melbourne is known as one of the world’s great street art capitals for its unique expressions of art displayed on approved outdoor locations throughout the city. Lane-ways and by ways were draped in colors, strong architectural buildings speaks about their history on a very large scale.
A complete package full of inspiration, colors and strokes. Oh Melbourne I have fallen in love with you.
