Right in the Suburbs of Gulberg Lahore, is the Yasir Broast Gravy & Grill, where we planned to dine.
The table we were settled in was the best spot for selfies! The restaurant is the combination of casual and sophisticated interior décor. With light music on, and families gathered around, we felt more at ease. There was still time for the buffet to start, and so we took good advantage of our time with the interior and Candy Camera..
Once we had our plates ready, we headed back to our table, and began the tasting ritual.
Ever had a soft Spring Roll, and liked it? That first bite of that simple roll teased my taste buds, making me take another to decipher the simplicity of it. I would not have spoiled its innocence with the tangy tastes of tomato sauce..
Next came the chow mein, a bit overdone, and the taste was a bit low to the buds, but otherwise ok. Chicken Tawa Masala, now that’s what made me say “mmm..” like hungry person who tastes proper food after a long time, downing it with my cola. Ate all of it on the plate, that I did.
I am basically not a Shami Kebab person, but when it comes to experiences, I wanted to check on the tastes too. So, cutting a piece off the Kabob, I, a bit reluctantly, pushed it towards my mouth. The moment my tongue tasted it, oh, I was truly, purely dazzled! It tasted just like my mum’s!!!
Yum, Yum, Yum, and down went the Shami Kabob too. And came the food that I have tried many places for, but the way those Mini Seekh Kababs tasted, the best I have had, ever! I did try a few sweets afterwards, but that Tawa Masala and the Mini Seekhs, I would go Thrice back, and more, for those!
Mouthwatering, right? Lets Step On!
