Sharing a very special and extremely personal concept of mine, I always feel music is a soulful way to tuck yourself away from worries and hustle of life. Indulging ad plunging deeper into emotions sometimes give you peace and sense of living. I have always found that music does wonders to me, gives me pleasure, allow me to think. broaden my horizon and above all connects me with some musical and extravagant souls. And here I am celebrating a musical relationship with my soul sister Neha Pandey – bollywood singer, writer and a little girl at heart.
This is a new musical initiative I have taken, to capture the raw beauty behind musical notes, highs and lows of rhythms interpreting life. This song is an old one, originally sung by legendary Asha Bhosle Ji, from a movie called Bulandi – beautifully capturing the essence of a daughter’s emotion remembering her family! My self being a daughter, now mother of a daughter and being far away from my parents … understands the amount of robust rawness behind each and every word, note and rhythm.
oh dear Father, probably send my brother
Send those childhood fun, sealed in your warmth
This spring has sprung a silent emotion
This pouring rain has touched my lost innocence
send me some blossom of love, send me some life to live
Oh my dear father, how’s my mother? Probably send my brother
