As we have entered into a month full of blessings, festivities and celebrations, I have round up, hot spots for you, incase you want to relish your iftaar in a different way.
1. RAMADAN SPECIAL AT ROSA MEXICANO
If you’re visiting the UAE capital this season, you should make it a point to celebrate at Rosa Mexicano. It’s one of the hottest spots when it comes to offering delicious Iftar displays and providing a warm and cheerful backdrop, creating a magical experience for each guest.

2. RAMADAN SPECIAL WITH A JAPANESE TWIST
Chez Sushi introduces special bento box for the Holy Month
Chez Sushi, Dubai’s fast-casual Japanese restaurant, will host alternative Iftars throughout Ramadan.
From sundown until 1am, the popular restaurant will serve an exclusive bento box, loaded with authentic dishes signature to Chez Sushi.
- Japanese katsu curry – fried/grilled chicken or mixed vegetables
- Mixed green salad
- Miso soup
- Steamed rice
- Date mochi – Japanese ice cream made with dates
The Iftar menu is priced at AED 60 and AED 45 for the chicken and vegetarian options respectively.
Chez Sushi will be open from noon till 1am during Ramadan; dine-in starts at Iftar time. The bento box is also available for take away and delivery. Chez Sushi is located in Wasl Square (Al Wasl Road), Dubai Marina and Bay Square (Business Bay) and has recently opened a new outlet in Arabian Ranches. 3. RAMADAN SPECIAL WITH ALL AMERICAN TOUCH
Diners visiting Cravin’ Cajun during Ramadan are in for a real treat. From the first day of the holy month diners can enjoy Iftar with a difference and indulge in a fully American themed feast.
From sundown, 7.30pm until 11pm, Dubai’s favourite Cajun restaurant is serving up a variety of all-American dishes, featuring a buffet prepared by the restaurant’s Head Chef.
Starting at only AED 120 or AED 110 for groups of ten or more, the specially crafted menu has been prepared using signature recipes from across the fifty states, which is also home to the restaurants signature Creole cuisine. Among the favourite dishes to be served are Cravin’ Cajun’s mac n’ cheese, the famous chicken and waffles, fried shrimp and chicken.
A symphony of side dishes includes potato skins, creamy coleslaw and the simple but classic carrots and peas– whilst for those with a sweet tooth, authentic pumpkin pie, American cheesecake, and key-lime pie add the perfect finishing touch to the feast.
“Iftar is a time to show appreciation with loved ones and friends – and we are looking forward to our guests celebrating this holy month with us,” said F&B Director Timothy Jay.
“My team and I have carefully prepared an array of authentic American delicacies which will provide a different offering for breaking the fast this holy month of Ramadan,” he continued.
Located on the ground floor of Novotel Dubai Al Barsha, Cravin’ Cajun brings with it the spirit and sounds of the deep south of the US. Open for Iftar Monday to Saturday 7pm to 11:30pm, Closed on Sunday evening.
