Police unveiled a special Neymar Jr model
POLICE launched its ‘Special Neymar Jr model’. The glittering event was held on 1St May at The Lounge in the Fashion Avenue, Dubai Mall. In the presence of Mr M.S. Reddy, MD of Derivision FZCO, Mr. Stefano Bozzo, POLICE Brand Director, along with other senior officials of the company, dignitaries and invitees, the event was glamourati!
In keeping with the brand affinity for sporting icons, POLICE – which believes itself to be the epitome of ‘cool’ – had recently chosen the equally cool 21-year-old Neymar Da Silva Santos Jr. of Brazil to be its eyewear ambassador for 2014.
The special Neymar Jr model by Police presents a bold and contemporary design, perfectly reflecting the personality of the talented Brazilian footballer. The special model withholds the brands distinctive traits that are further enhanced with an innovative and unique finish. The lenses feature an unconventional finish with a mirrored section on the top part, creating a new and contemporary two-tone effect, one of the eyewear’s distinguishing elements. The double bridge is made of metal, as is the insert that customises the two sides of the front piece in a futuristic revisitation of the infamous Police logo. The special Neymar Jr model is available in color combinations of petrol blue, clear gray and Champagne, light brown.
The model will be available in a special case, signed by Neymar Jr and featuring the iconic NJR logo. Oozing a sporty, feminine vibe are glasses that are part of the new collection’s offering for women, who incidentally are not far behind their male counterparts in idolizing football’s latest sensation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Reddy said, “In a nation where football is followed with much frenzy, Neymar Jr. is already a household name among the sport’s fans.
